Hi, it's been awhile since I last logged on. I had a baby 6 weeks ago and have not had a chance to do much else except feed and change him! Anyway, my question is how important are appliance warranties. We bought our appliances through Sears and before they are delivered we need to decide if we want a 3 yr or 5 yr warranty. The appliances we are getting are: dishwasher, rangehood, cooktop, built-in oven, dryer, washer, fridge and microwave. Is it better to get warranties for certain appliances ie. those that use water ie.fridge (it has an icemaker), dishwasher and washer. We are trying to save $ but don't want to regret not getting it. What do you think? Have any of you had problems with your appliances and wished you had extended warranties?
