I always arrange books basically in 2 categories. The books I need often are kept in the lower side of the shelf where it is easily reachable and the ones that I dont want regulary are placed in areas which I need assistance. I also make sure that the books are closed cabinets else they gather dust. For information on fencing, please check out  http://californiafenceco.com/vinyl.htmlhttp://californiafenceco.com/wood.htmlhttp://californiafenceco.com/metal.htmlhttp://californiafenceco.com/chain.html

I use to organize my bookshelf by arranging the books according to their sizes. The big ones all in one lane and so with the other sizes. I also arrange them by their categories like science books are in one lane and the math books are in the other lane.
