Ask a Designer

Did you guys see the Ask a Designer segment on yesterdays show? Lynda actually paid a surprise visit to a woman who had written in for advise cameras and all and redid her kitchen. She was apparently told that a H&H staffer was going to come.
Can you imagine opening your front door and finding Lynda and camera crew there. I would pee myself right on the spot and pee and spray her too. I would hide behind the TV times the entire time!!! No time to wax or reapply second layer of plaster on your face!!! My god!!!

....go to the Acme Model Rental place and hire me a nice 7 ft. Swedish type as a fill in for me!!!
Not that I'm not gorgeous mind you but Lynda is so tall that all you would see is the white part of my eyeballs from looking up at her. I'd look like a Greek Linda Blair!!!!

Norm, you're referring to Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, I think. The show with Ty Pennington from Trading Spaces?? I can't believe what they do on that show in 7 days!! Did you see the episode where they made a house totally wheelchair accessible, and even put in an elevator??

bmac, that is TOO COOL!!! How did you manage to withold that information from us for so long?!??!?!

Great story. I will put you on my calendar, so I will be sure to watch the show that day! I am so glad they gave you partial warning - that would be a rather scary story otherwise (I like to be "ready" for company).

Did you learn anything you found really valuable?

Sorry about the cat.
