Bathroom Tiles

I am renovating my bathroom.  Can I use white subway tile on the walls (either plain white subway or white beveled subway tile) and then use a glass subway tile in the tub area?  Or would the styles clash? i.e. classic subway tile look with more modern glass subway tile.  For the glass tile I am considering a grey glass tile. Any other suggestions?  If that doesn't work I may go with 1x1 carrara marble tiles.  Other info on my bathroom: I'm using the Kohler Persuade toilet, white vanity with carrera marble top - on the other side of the bathroom i'm installing a white American Standard bathtub with the Kohler Devonshire bypass shower door.   I plan on accenting with polished chrome (for lighting, hardware etc.)Any thoughts would be welcome!!!
