I came across this site today and I thought I'd share the link to the page showing how to frame a plain bathroom mirror. They have included small glass tiles in their design. This project was done on an episode of the Tony Danza Show.

There are other interesting pages there as well, including one on making a headboard and another on painting your kitchen cabinets.

That's a beautiful mirror....ahhhh, let's see, that could be my next project in the springtime ;)
Don't feel alone janetc, I'm getting a plain one too. I like the one at the site I posted, but I decided to go ahead with a simpler design. My father-in-law is making it from wood He brought it over all primed to check for fit, but took it home to resize. (because he got the dimensions from my husband-I should have warned him about that  )
that is a cool idea, makes our idea extremely boring, we have the seventies mirror in our bathroom, no frame or nothing around it, so hubby bought molding and framed it, it did make an improvement but that one is awesome

That's a lovely mirror -- now I think I know how to dress up the builder's mirror in the guest bathroom!! :)
Did anyone else read the directions - maybe I missed something - does the frame overlap the mirror? If yes, I'd be afraid to break the mirror. I guess you have to be careful. I really like the project however and we have two large "builder" mirrors that aren't really living up to my "design interiors" LOL
and thanks for the link - looks like a lot of good info on that site.
That is just lovely. You could use that application on a fireplace as well.
