Has anyone purchased or made their own bicycle rack? I tried buying one of the pole and ring one's they have in Toronto to install in my backyard, but they cost $125 each! Need a bike rack for 3 bikes, want it to take as little room as possible, and would prefer to buy it but will make it if it's easy.

You can make one with wood. 2 pieces on the ground about 18" apart and about 4-6' long for 3 bikes. Then tee-pee 4 pieces of wood so each end meets the wood on the ground. Hard to explain.
I have also seen old tires sank in the ground 1/3 of the way down and filled with earth or sand to hold bikes.
