It's my birthday today, I turned 46 and for the first time in my life I'm feeling a little blue about my age. Don't get me wrong I'm still gorgeous and everything, but I feel the big 50 coming and it's making me depressed. I don't know if it's my imagination but my teeth are starting to feel loose and I feel they might start to drop onto my lap as I type. Yesterday I went to smack my husband with my slipper and I barely leaped one foot off the ground, usually I can jump 3 ft. off the ground, smack him, and simultaneouly pulvarize the spider perched on the ceiling with one swoop!! Well, I have to go to work now where everyone will pat me on the shoulder and then rub Ben Gay on it. Boo hoo hoo Wah!!!!

Go out and buy jewelery! DH never remembers to buy me gifts for my birthday so I always have to go out and buy my own. Go get yourself something fabulous and when you are at the cash say to yourself "To me, from me, with lots of love". Its what I always do.
This does not sound like the Elise we know and love. It's the slippers, I tell ya! You have obviously followed your own advice and those slippers of yours are now all out of whack. (or is that SMACK?)
You go get yourself a new pair, and I'll bet you'll be hitting the high spots like a ninja. It's your birthday. Do it for yourself. DO IT FOR YOUR FAMILY!! JUST DO IT!!

for the first time I had coffee coming out of my nose. Luckily I saved it with holding my cup underneath it. Wouldn't want to spill the precious coffee beans.
