I have to tell you about the dog I met tonight. He belongs to a friend of mine. He was a mix of Rotti with Jack Russel (mother was the Rotti). The dog is every bit a JRT in appearance and temperment but supersized to Rotti size and has the colouring of a Rotti.
He was just the nuttiest dog. PUre play, run, jump, bark, try to get attention energy that you see in a JRT but having 90 lbs or so behind him was something. Poor ol' Ebony just wasn't quite sure what to think since she's still a little unsure about other dogs to start with and then she meets this whirling dirvish with fur who was not having this sitting and not playing thing at all.
Anyway, I thought I'd let you know about this odd combo as it's sure not one I have ever heard of before.

I can't imagine that dog! Hilarious!
When I was still at school, my friends cousins had a St. Bernard and a Bull Terrier (female). Needless to say, somehow they managed to have a litter of puppies.
My friend took one of the puppies. It grew up to be a white smooth coated St. Bernard with black spots. She called her 'Daisy' because she looked just like a cow. :biglol:
I was wondering that exact thing and all that seems to make sense is that Rotti must have been lying down and probably didn't even know JRT was having his way with her. I would say better this way than the other way around.
I don't know if I can get a picture. You have to imagine a dog the height and length of a female rotti (or small male), about25" at the shoulder, with the head and smily face of a JRT and quite a chiselled body (unlike Rotti bodies which to me seem quite stocky except for their legs). Basically it looks like a giant JRT with longer legs in proportion than a JRT usually has.
And they say size matters. :biglol:
lmao!...omg Pearl..that was hilarious!...DBD would you be able to get a pic of this dog?...i'd love to see what he looks like...you know Pete was tall...but lemme tell ya...Milo legs aren't no bigger than 8''long!...lol
did the Jack Russell need a step stool ? lol :)
