I havea decor dilemma here. The DINING ROOM has dark stained wide plank (6-8:") wood. The wide planks that have the dowels you can see. I hope I am explaining myself ok here.
The ceiling had the grid pattern in dark wood slats over the plaster. The slats are about 2 " -2 1/2 ' wide x 1/2 thick and then pattern is rectangles made with them on the white ceiling.
One wall is the back of a fireplace with grey rectangle cut sizes. rocks Grout is grey.
The other 2 walls are plaster then there is the wall opening to the kitcehn which has 2 wide wood steps down to get there. 'OK there is little natural light in the daytine as only couple narrow windows 30 x 6" up by the ceiling. so no drapes needed here.
I am at a losss for wall colour. The dining table + 8 chairs is all solid oak stained nedium colour. No seat cushions just the moulded out for your rear.
Any help I would love as to wall colour. Also I was thinking of painting out the darl ceiling slats white. Thanks so much .
