Ever been on a blind date? Would you ever? Is this something you would do for a friend? Would you offer your services to a blind date agency??

Step aside ladies and bloke, I think this one's for me!!

I like long walks on the beach, I'm 5 foot five, 34 and a Libra! haaaaaa!

Can you be PM'd france? I could swear I tried once months ago about something paint related and it didn't work. :(

So your DH is a fireman? That's cool. Every time I see a firetruck and I'm with my friends we always scream out...."look out, sensitive men" HAAAAA

Ever considered adoption?

Maybe! I certainly want children, always have! And a man wouldn't hurt either! LOL

Heck, those house party invitations with mostly married couples started happening a few years ago for me. They're fun because we're all friends but during them, every once in a while I'll look at my friend with the expression "kill me now" :hairpull:

I know what you mean though, about having something in common with them again. Its always nice when you're at the same stage in life with your closest friends.

My oldest son turned 10 on the 14th, and most of my friends are just starting to have their families. I must say thatit is nice to have more in common with them again. Now when we get together, it's a families thing. We also get sitter a feew times a year and have house parties. Which is soo nice, "cause we all need the break:D Hey maybe you'll hook up with one of the firemen, and then you'll be doin' the whole marriage and kids thing too;)

Amy79, always turn your head when you sense a moment like that coming on! Sticky keyboards are unacceptable! HAAAAAAAAAA!

Yup, we've certainly had good times that's for sure! A few comedians in the bunch so we're always laughing at something. Although my group of 'going out' friends keeps getting smaller and smaller, as some of them have gotten married and started having babies. One of my friends had a baby this past Sunday actually! So times are changing. Such is life

OMG you made me spit out my tea! The sensitive men bit :D
Now, I'd better clean off the keyboard ! I'll bet you and your friends are a riot!

I think we chatted last year about Newmarket...and you knowing someone who was moving there? Am I dreaming about that? I did the blind date thing too where I kept thinking OMG, what the hell does my friend think of me? Does she/he think this is my kind of guy? Yikes! You are so right about going because you think it's only two houra...although I did read great advice a year or so ago and I really try to follow it...."You can't afford to say no" For me that went for a lot more than just dating and heck..it seems to be working, from my classroom to my friends and to my love life! ha

That was me! Glad to hear all has worked out well for you.

hmmmmm....i guess then when you need the emergency services of 911 they can just ignore your call???

let me guess. being an IT is it? is more tangible as you say than an emergency service worker??

go figure!

errrrrm....I believe I said the nurses and doctors that work all hours for little recog, should be praised more, considering they get paid poorly too. Nurses...love them to bits ;)

Now I would go on a blind date with you, just because I think you'd be fun to go shopping with - way more than my DH. Oh yeah....DH - that could be a complicating factor! hehe

It's a date then, when should I pick you up? ;)

I also heard that they are very handy!! I had my bathroom redone by a fireman. So, they are cute, like to cook, like to DIY, sounds pretty good to me... France, how old are these single fellows that your DH knows? Not for me of course, for my single friend. :D

you're right most of thier calls are medical related calls but when there is a fire look out! it's like the testosterone levels fly through the roof . it's a real brotherhood they share and they love to cook to boot!

why is it that so many of them are good-looking? But don't know if I could handle being married to one. I'd be a basket case with all those emergencies. Although, I heard only about 5% of what they do is putting out fires.
