OK

I saw a grill that had removable teflon grates that you could grill marks, waffle textures, plain.
The 5 grills go into the dishwasher or easily wipe clean.
New George Foreman grill for about $99.
Thanks Wolfbaby, thats whay its so much cheaper . So I guess I have to figure out what do I really want to use it for to justify the price.
They are two different items though - ones a grill - which you can cook everything from burgers to pancakes on - the other is a panini press for doing grilled sandwiches and the like. You can't cook hamburgers and other things on it - it doesn't get hot enough.
I also have the Cuisinart Griddler and am happy with it.
I have no idea which one is better, but just want to let you know that a panini press is a great investment :) I bought one a couple of months ago, and I use it a lot. It's the Cuisinart Griddler Gourmet. It has removable ribbed & flat griddles, and you can open it all the way so the top and bottom form one big griddle. I got it at Linens N Things -- if they still have any in stock, you might get a great price on it with their going-out-of-business sale.
