We're sprucing up the laundry room. Adding more cabinets and better storage.
I would like to have a built-in ironing board, but I'm not sure how to go about it. Is there a kit you can buy or special hardware to adapt a regular ironing board?? I'd appreciate some input, I can either mount it directly on the wall or inside a cabinet.

I don't know if I want to attempt to build it myself, but Lee Valley is not that far from here. I will check it out.
Lee Valley Tools sells the built-in ironing board as a kit. You can either order it online (www.leevalley.com under garden section) or buy it directly if they are anywhere close to you. I have always found the staff at the store in our area very helpful, even with project hints...
Maybe you could try RONA or Home Depot also. Or if you are handy, why not take out a book from the library and build one yourself?
