Calgary folks if you are looking for some deals on accessories and such apparently Rafters is closing. The Crowfoot location is practically empty (or was when I was there earlier this week). The sign said the lease was up.
Today I happened to be in the Deerfoot mall and the store their also has a sign up about the lease being up. 70% off a lot of things and the store has a lot of stock. While I was there I overheard a staffer saying they were closing down.
Meanwhile, apparently this has happened before and they came back to life, but right now most stuff is at least 50% off so that's good if you are looking for things like ottomans or kitchen wares or basic knick knacks. Not sure about the other locations but a phone call might reveal if all stores have a clearance on.
