Way to go Mel it feels good to get out and feel like you are helping out. This time of the year there will belots of men coming looking fjor something for the Wife and you will be able to really help them and make them happy and her happy so you can feel real proud of yourself.

Good for you Mel. I know what being out of work can be like so I think it is so important to find a purpose. Whether it's parenting or working or volunteering everyone needs something to make their lives feel full. Hope every shift goes as smoothly. :applaud:
Aw shucks....thanks. My first shift was pretty much paperwork and reading about policies and stuff. However, I looked FAB while i was sitting in the back room. LOL The manager did let me go put some merchandise back on the racks tho..which I had no problem doing..considering I am a loyal shopper of this store. And while no one was looking..I even made a sale..although I'm not "trained" for that yet..hehe. Oh well...
So far, all the co-workers I've met seem great. There are 2 other ladies that were stay at home moms too..and this was their first job back in the real world. So thats cool. It's nice to find common ground right from the get go.
I have to say, I came home from my first shift feeling soooo good about myself. Like I have an actual purpose again. Its crazy that a simple little job can do that for me.
Thanks again for letting me share all my ups and downs with you gals.
