Can i call on your opinions once again...if you think my thought process was bad before...WELL....its even worse these days, i just cant seem to accomplish what i need to do... :o
I was actually enjoying my new living room layout that you folks helped me with, but i now need to free up some walking space with the least amount of obstacles and because i tend to be house proud i would like to have a nice room too, at some point in the near future it will have to accomadate a walker temporarily and for now a cane......you walk right into this room from the front door, and i mean that literally.
someone, i believe JoannaM felt my ottomon was too large for the room, i certainly do agree now, owe you a donut joanna ;) it was eating up alot of floor space so i have traded it in for a smaller one but still has storage, so that makes me happy.......i love my rug and really dont want to remove it, which is likely the most logical thing to do...i know stupid, eh? but i dont care much for this floor so the rug helps..... i guess another option would be a coffee table size
so in a nutshell, with this layout, the rug becomes an obstacle for me to get around, i try to walk around it....and as you will see by the pictures its still not leaving enough gaps between some peices of furniture....dh did shove it under the sofa but not so sure that is working...............the other problem is this picture of my chair is the main focal point when you walk in, well that first then the sofa....not a good focal point......im asking for suggestions before my chair ends up back down in the corner by the window....which pushes everything down towards the direction of where my chair is now and it does open up my walkway........im at a loss!!!!! and im hoping i can count on you guys once again
sorry for such a long long thread.....oh and ignore the underlay sticking out from the rug, as we are still working on things
