Someone posted a method that they had for successfully removing perspiration stains when they do their laundry. This was in the past few months.

Any one that can link me to that thread - thank you in advance.

I'm not sure about a particular stain, but, I started using about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of BORAX along with my regular detergent. I use it for whites (mosty underwear and socks) and towels. The towels, I now wash in HOT water too, as I read that you don't kill moulds and mildew if you don't. Anyway, that was about three months ago, since I started and even grungy socks come out stain-free and my towels smell fresh. The brand I buy is called 20 Mule Team Borax and I found it at Walmart for about $4.00 a box.

I have wanted to use Borax in conjunction with my detergent but since getting the machine that requires HE detergent I haven't - does anyone know if you can add in stuff like borax to high efficient washers?

vinegar gets my vote too. Just give it a soak in some and it takes it all away (although sometimes if you don't rinse well enough you end up craving fish and chips later in the day). You will see the stain coming out while it's in the vinegar so no guessing really about how long to leave it. When it's gone, it's done.

I haven't seen that thread but try soaking the stain with white vinegar then rinse with cold/cool water before washing
