my bathroom has very little wall space by the time you factor in windows, doors, etc. Should I paint the ceiling white(all trim and fixtures are white) or the same colour as the walls. I plan to paint a dark brown colour.

definately paint the ceiling out the same colour as the walls....especially if it's a chocolate colour!! If it's a small room you can afford to go with that dramatic, rich, luxurious feel ... if you tire of it quickly you'll be able to change it later without too much sweat !!!

....were me, I'd paint the whole thing brown. Then it would remind me of a chocolate bar and I would be the nut in the middle

Funny enough we just painted our two piece bathroom a dark brown as well and we have white trim and doors also.

We did paint the ceiling the same colour - we love it - did a shiny chrome light fixture and an oval mirror that tilts that has shiny chrome brackets over the sink - also shiny chrome faucet.

We love the whole look.
