OK

I appreciate all the advice.
What I've done is sat my family down and reduced the baking list down to just family favourites so it's a little more manageable considering the time restraints I'm under this year. This way I'm not killing myself baking dozens of cookies they don't love. My mother will be baking all the shortbread we can eat and I've found a couple of bake shops that make sugar cookies and ruggulach better than I ever could, so I'm off the hook for those. Now I only have 4 recipes to complete and that's do-able.
I wish I'd done this sooner.
Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays everyone!
I wish I could help you out! I love baking but sadly I am not doing any this year as I am trying to drop some lbs. Are you looking to have alot done?
in the Classified Section, they are always people advertising to take on Christmas Baking.
I'm quite certain a bakery will not be able to accomdate your recipes. Unless of course your receipes yeild 40 dozen. I can't see them wanting to hand mix your few dozen cookies because they'd be unable to use their industrial mixers. Plus they'd have to trust your recipe was foolproof. I can't imagine how much they'd end up having to charge you for all the inconveniences in creating them.
You'd be far better off to buy what they normally bake or, like myself and others have suggested, to find a person selling their baking from their home/organization.
Good luck with your Christmas preparations!

Local cooking school...is there one in your area ? or a cooking class where someone there would like to make some extra $$ for Christmas..
Thanks for the advice Foxxy. I'm not sure that will work for me though. If anyone has other suggestions they certainly would be appreciated.
I would contact your local Senior's Center or Meals on Wheels people. Most of them operate out a Community Centers ot like us a local church...
I am sure for a price some will bake for you using your recipes... :)
