Christmas/Holiday decor

Do any of you create your Holiday decor around a theme? I have for the past several years. Last year my Christmas theme was red roses and tartan, the year before was a Country Christmas, and this year is Winter Wonderland (all silvers, sky/ice blue, white).

I'd love to share and exchange Christmas ideas with you.

I also just saw that Canadian tire carries them. Have you checked there yet?

The shopping channel has some really nice ones. They did a show today on 7 and 8 foot trees with pre strung lights. They were about $200.

Hope you find one.

LIla, I just love your light fixture!!! And your Christmas decor is absolutely beautiful! I love your doorknob, so very cute~!

I did a similar small touch to my chandelier. I love to find new ways to do these small touches!

Mambo, that is truly spectacular. It's not hard to tell she put a lot of thought and work into that. I love how the boughs played off the wood. I would love to see more if you more pics.

Last year I started far too early. I'd been saving all summer and fall and went on a shopping spree for red roses and tartan everything! LOL. I wanted to put it all up in October. hahaha... but I held off and didn't put it up until December 1st but by that time the energy had been burned and I took my time decorating. I loved how it looked.
