Has anyone tried chrome spray paint? Does it look like real chrome? I was thinking of buying a chandlier in brass and spray painting the rods chrome...do you think it would work? Its for the hall so it would be high up...no one would be able to see it up close.

The best looking chrome spray paint I have ever seen was at an auto parts store. That stuff looked very real.
If you are going to paint a lamp make sure you rough it up and get a primer on it because there will probably be a lacquer factory finish on it and paint has a very hard time sticking to that stuff.
