cleaning a stand up shower

Sounds like a dumb question...but how do you clean your shower? Do you spray on the daily shower cleaner after every shower or do you still scrub? I am looking for some type of brush with a long handle to reach all the way to the top. Has anyone seen one? What are your shower cleaning secrets?

but for heavy duty cleaning, I like the spray on CLR bathroom cleaner or dilute the original, leave it to work and go back in with a lightweight sponge mop and do the walls and glass. If the floor part still looks a little gungy, I love the Vim thick bleach just spread around the outer edge and lightly mop it around...leave for 30 minutes...then rinse. I know caution should be used when mixing cleaners, I try to rinse thoroughly, but sometimes get a little impatient when a "great cleaner" just doesn't do it.

If you have a Shoppers Drug store in your area try there.

Some Shoppers stock medical supplies for handicapped people.
One of them is a telescopic handle with a scrub ball on the end. It extends to about 5 -6 feet. They are about $16 but can be used for all kinds of things that are out of reach. Wrap dust cloth ( swiffer)around to clean ceiling fans + fixtures, dust top of high furniture and kitchen cabinets.

a great product to clean my stand up shower, it is called L.O.C. Plus daily shower cleanser-there is really no scrubbing needed, you just spray it on...no rinsing or wiping needed.

The best thing I have found to clean the stand up shower stall is hubbee! (DH)

why not use a car squeegee with an extensible handle. you can use the sponge part to clean when needed and the rubber part just to clear away the water spots after showering...i know it's not pretty to look at so just store it under the sink or in a nearby cupboard :)

my best tip is to squeegie the glass parts after every shower. It really slows the build up of water stains. But you have to do it every time, only takes a minute.

could I also say that Mr. Clean Bathroom is phenomenal at cleaning grimy showers and bathtubs. It just dissolves dirt with very little elbow grease, especially if you let it suds up first at the bottom of the shower or bathtub and rub the suds all over the wall, etc. I noticed how good it was when it was the only thing that really cleaned the glass shower stall spotless. I strongly recommend this product.

I have a tub scrub on a long handle that I use for the tubs and shower stall that I bought at the home show. Thought it was gimmicky at first but really works well. Needs replacing but I haven't seen it at the recent home shows I've been. Still looking...
