cleaning toilets

Maybe this is a personal question, but I was wondering how often you guys clean your toilets in a week? I was contemplating this question as I lay my toilet bowl brush on the kitchen table after cleaning, sipping my coffee(just kidding) . Do you do it once, twice, everyday, when the water starts to lap back and forth from some new bacterial life form, or when something jumps up and bites you in the................!!!!

I'll send over my Greek bugs to teach your bugs Greek. If you're going to have them in your house they might as well be cultured!!!

Out damned spot. Eew, Elise, really!

Is this perhaps somewhat linked to the overwhelming amounts of bugs from all over the world touring through my house on a daily basis perhaps? I've considered setting up a class room for them all, it would be nice if they could all get to know each other don't you think? Sort of like a day camp right here in my bathroom.
Perhaps I should take a look at that strange bottle dh bought?

We have a Lab, and you know how Labs feel about water!! She likes to go into the shower after it's been used and lick it. And we finally found the perfect use for the bidet -- it makes a perfect doggie water fountain :D

I probably shouldn't say how often (or NOT often!!) I clean our toilets..... the guest one gets cleaned when people are coming over (and sometimes it's a long time between guests!!) The one in the master bathroom gets cleaned... well, once a month, if we're lucky!! Is that too gross??

I've seen my hubby clean a toilet once -- I decided that we're better off if I clean our toilets!! He didn't even lift the seat to clean under it!! Obviously, he doesn't know that that's where most of the gunk goes.

On a related but grosser topic, I just read an article yesterday that says you should keep your toothbrush in your bedroom instead of in the bathroom. Apparently, there are all sorts of airborne toilet bacteria that find happy homes on the wet bristles.... ICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
