cmm, question about star chandelier

I've almost got my huby convinced that we should buy the star light fixture from the store in TO that you told me about. The one problem is, I need to decide where to put it.... just a minor detail!! ;)

You said that you put yours in your foyer -- does it give off a reasonable amount of light there?? Do you think it gives off enough light to work in a dining room??

Thanks for all your help, cmm. I think you're right about the star pendant being too small for the dining room. Oh well, I'll just have to think of another place for it. Maybe the kitchen....

FYI, I just sent you an e-mail -- can't wait to see the picture!!

You've given me lots of good ideas on where I can hang one (or more!) star pendants :-)

How do you think the 17" one would look in this dining room (excuse the plastic on the seat cushions and the tags -- haven't gotten around to taking them off yet!! And ignore the balloon the plant in the corner :) ):

If you go to the topic on thos board called "New Table Lamps for L/R", *cmm* posted a picture of her star pendant (I think it's post #13).

Quipus Crafts is the store that cmm said she got her star chandelier from. I think she said hers is the 17" chandelier and it cost $135. Not a bad price, considering I saw a similar one on a US web site for $195.

Hope this helps :)

I still need to find a place to put the star chandelier before I can buy it!!

I'm sorry......I am not answering your question but asking you one.

Are you buying it from Quipus crafts as someone suggested and may I ask how much they are?

I noticed this same pendant in the most recent edition of House and Home. In the "House and Home Makeover" Erin Feasby used it in the little boy's bedroom. It looked great.

You are so lucky to be getting one.....they are really beautiful!
