We want to lay laminate hardwood looking flooring, but are uncertain on what color we should go with as the kitchen is already done and i don't know if i can match the counter top grey/black granite look with the floor or not. Here is a picture of our kitchen. I wanted to lay a grey barnwood looking floor. Our space is small 1187 total house, so I wanted the floors to be light in color.

I agree with the colour choice, but it is a kitchen and typically water and laminate are not good friends.
If you ever had a water leak or a dishwasher backup or even sink overflow and were unable to stop it in time, you might find yourself having to replace your laminate. It isn't a big area you have so you won't need that much. Price for real wood isn't that much more.
I think the grey option would go fine with your counter tops, etc. I also think that it will help tie in the black appliances.
