The one where two guys are standing around the bbq and one pushes a button and music comes on playing "The most wonderful time of the Year". You're thinking Christmas and then you see the kids all loaded up to go back to school. I bet there are more than a few people who relate to that one. :bliss:

is the Jigaloo commercial, I always end up roaring right along with the Jigaloo guy -- plus it's a darn effective commercial because the name of the product sticks with you...Years ago I saw a commercial during Superbowl and it was for some information company (I guess) -- totally ineffective because it didn't have anything to do with the product or service so no motivation to buy -- but it was hilarious and must have cost a fortune to produce...it was a takeoff on all the old movies about cattle drives, but in this case the cowpokes were herding cats. There was a shot of the cats fording a stream, one of the cowboy coming back to the herd with a kitten across his saddle, one with the cowboys at night around the campfire and you can hear meowing, and one cowboy says The herd is restless tonight -- then the stampede and a shot of thundering paws -- well, you get the drift, it was a scream but what was it selling????? :rolleyes:
I like those Staples commercials too. My weird kids are actually looking forward to getting back to school. My 14 yr old DD was just saying the other day that she can't wait to go back, but to my surprise, her reason was not that she misses her friends, but that she misses doing math. :confused: Yes, I did check her temperature and she wasn't even feverish... hehe.
Btw, my favourite commercials have always been the Serta mattress ones with those cute sheep!!
those staples commercials always make me laugh! but I really do feel bad for the kids....back to school really sucks! :cry:
