OMG - this forum is tricky. You only get so long to type and find photos to add or else it logs you off. Any pointers on how to navigate on here??
I need help "putting all this together" - and need suggestions on
(1) accent colours for cushions etc
(2) art or mirrors with this colour
(3) curtains - colours and type
(4) add any architectural interest

any suggestions at the moment (I think the others have given excellent suggestions) but I wanted to say I LOVE the paint color and LOVE the light fixture above your table! Your condo looks great!
Hi. Attached is a pic of the canvases that I thought might look good in your place.

They are from Urbane!
I love your home!!! I think red or orange would be great accents in your home. I agree with the other posters who said that art is personal decision, but I am considering buying some art from www.galleryofhope.ca that supports the diabetes foundation. There are some prints on canvas that are called Autumn Arbor I and Autumn Arbor II that my husband and I really like and might buy for our livingroom. If you decided to go with a red or an orange accent, I think these would be nice in your room too. They seem reasonably priced to me and I think they would also coordinate well with your wall colour (which I love).
I'm not sure about curtains but panels and maybe some kind of natural bamboo shade might work. I'm struggling about how to proceed with window coverings for my livingroom too.
Good luck!

Your room looks great! May I ask where you got your two matching chairs?
London Drugs has 2 or 3 different bar stool designs. In my LD they were in a back hallway on the top shelf. They make not be on display yet in your store either so you might want to search around or ask a manager. These were the no back style. Cost ~$60.
I started a new thread, Attaching a Photo.

check out the post above..."just painted-need advice"...think it is susan's
there are some good ideas of mock-ups for curtains/colors
maybe you could ask someone to help in a new post.
(love your place)
the ones on Design Inc had no back, but these are pretty nice too. Thanks for the tip!!! I live in Regina so I'll dash off to London Drugs.
p.s. my second choice for paint was by BM called Fairview $$*&
HC85 and HC86 but I added 1V6 (red) to get rid of the green overtones. My sister loved it and used it in her entire basement.
Lovely spot - but can you pleez tell me how to post a pic?? thanks :hairpull:
p.s. IF I CAN FIGURE this out - I'll add extra pictures
Are these the barstools you are talking about? These stools in the first pic were on an episode of Design Inc. called Jennifer's Kitchen (season 1). They are the aluminum Navy barstool and have more of a brushed look than chrome. They cost around $570 USD each and I believe you can get a polished style that looks like chrome for more money. HOWEVER...if you don't mind buying knock-offs and live out West, London Drugs sells their version and are on clearance for $60 each (2nd pic). If you want the chrome look, you can always get them powdercoated.
wow I love it. I am going to have to check out that colour. I have used General Paint before they have some nice shades.
I want to eventually redo my bedroom and that colour might be perfect. I have not seen anything in BM that really is what I want yet.
As for the windows.....what about choc brown leather or leather look tab tops.
they have some at linen and things. not real leather but I have them in my bedroom and love them
I would go for a mirror in a dark dark brown frame.
a hit of colour you could go acid green, bright blue or even red would be a nice shot of colour.
Thanks for the compliments. What about bar stools? what colour and type. I saw some on Design Inc that had a square seat and were all chrome. Anyone seen anything like that around?
p.s. IF I CAN FIGURE this out - I'll add extra pictures
your home looks fabulous....and i too love the paint color on your walls. When buying art, it is something that you must look at and go WOW...lol then you know you have the right piece...your palette so far is very neutral so almost any accent color would work, what is your favorite color? Mirrors, i like the mirrors with a dark thick frame....sorry not much help
smiles

It's by General Paint - Barn Rafter.
yes, your place looks beautiful.
for accent cushions, possibly a blue or an acid green.
Art ....is in the eye of the beholder.
Find something you love, and it will look right....don't look for something just because of the color...
chunky dark mirror frames...black/brown or black
curtains, I'm never sure of...but there are very talented people on this forum that do great mock ups...
perhaps put in a request.
hard to tell, do you have crown moulding?
you home looks fab...what colour do have on your walls now ? it looks mocha-ish in the pics...is it?
