Crockpot Question?

I am looking to buy a crockpot.

There is one I like in the Sears catalogue, ....it has a 6.5 litre capacity.

My question is ....is that really large?
There are only 2 of us...the one I have now is too small, but without going into a store and comparing sizes, I'm curious....can you help?
thanks

for all your advice.

I think I'll go for it........

the one I have now has the cord attached to the pot....
it's a bugger to clean as you can't immerse it totally.

That will be a great feature, to actually remove the pot to clean.
I agree with you all...you don't have to 'fill' it, and the idea of leftovers is, to me, one of the main reasons I use one.
thanks again

Mine is about the same age as Jeep's and is the large size, well it was then. If you are close to Canadian Tire or a Super Store they have many out on display and you can see it yourself and decide. The price are good also at these 2 stores. :)

I have 2 a small one and a big one I have had the small for 32 years it was a wedding present from the States and we used it alot when there was just 2 of us then it got to small. i find that I use the big one all the time as most things I make in it I like to have leftovers. I checked and it doesn't say the size on it so I would call Sears and ask them how big it is but for 2 people mine is not to big and I use it all the time.

not sure exactly what the size of mine is...but i think bigger is better... :D ...and if you have company over...atleast you have one...doesn't mean you have to fill it
