Dawn, I'm glad you're happy with the shams you got.
I went to the Bay, and found signs indicating only the bedding sheets NOT the shams/comforters were on sale. I spoke with the lady at the cash register there and she gave me "buy one, get the second at 50% off", so I purchased 2 poppy shams. This was her offer when I told her I was lead to believe there was a sale when I'd called. Not bad in the end, I guess.
I'm glad I got them, since this line is apparently being discontinued.
I spoke to someone in customer service and was told that anything that is advertised in the flyers would be the same price everywhere. However, the manager of each store can put things on sale just for his/her own store.
So the best I can do is to try to have my closest store match the downtown price. It's still not as good a deal as yours.
and all our Bay stores usually have the same sale. The lady I spoke to said, more specifically, it was on as "buy one, get one free". She did take my call with a lineup of people waiting for her, and she told me that info after she had checked a flyer or something nearby. She sounded a little 'busy' so I will check at the store in person today to see if her info was accurate.
