This is what I did to make DD's ceiling a little more interesting..and to cover up the fact that her light fixture is UGLY!!! I just hand painted it with leftover yellow and pink paint that I used on her walls. It could be a little neater..but oh well..she appreciates it.

thanks again Ladies..I appreciate the compliments. DD loves her "big girl" room..even though it doesn't even have flooring right now...just plywood sub flooring. (Another project yet to be finished by DH :rolleyes: ) We looked at the CT chandelier for in there but the ceiling is soooo low (Like 7 feet or so) so I thought it would be best to keep this fixture and pretty it up a little. It worked out really well..now older DD wants one for her pink/purple room. I'll have to see what I can do.
