We have been working on my place... I will attch sofas I have already bought, and a floor plan of my new condo with the way I am thinking of laying out the floor plan... I am goign to see it tomorrow again.. SO I will take a tone of pics, so you all can have a good look at it... And give me great advice!

but so far have only seen what redheron shipped to me, via a special courier (my dad). However, I have seen many pictures, and Design Match of course, and the store looks wonderful.
hmmm maybe I will drop by sometime this week... My poor finance has been draged to just about every other furniture store in TO, so why not this one.. LOL

She has 2 lines, one is more traditional one is a little more modern. I think it has been done well, I only got to see a small sample, as I was on the PR team for the night, and was quite busy trying to keep all you crazy designers in line.. LOL
The line comes out in Jan-Feb... I am looking forward to seeing it all...

I really wanted to see the Walmart Bashing Movie... however, I had a client commitment that took precedence. I am not a fan of Brentwoods' Regular line.. so I am interested to see what Kim's is going to be. I will be seeing her in two weeks though at the Distillery Flea Market Christmas Thingee she does every year. Always clears me out of Christmas ornaments and such.
Would you say the line was stuffy and traditional like Brentwood or totally different? Pricepoints? Kim likes them up there that is for sure.
Heron is even a darn good "distance decorator". She has pointed me to these chairs, which I love, and are on sale right now for about $600.00 - I think they would be perfect with your sofa in robin's egg blue. They would also look perfect in my living room in brown or black, I am not sure which.

ok just a quick idea of what it would look like...
Condo.. you also have to take into account the visual space something occupies. It may physically fit in the space but height etc of the sofa arms.. the back of the chair etc. can make the furniture appear bigger than it actually is.
Don't rush to buy it all at once. Move in - live in the space and let it speak to you in terms of how you will use it and what you need it to accomplish as far as furniture layout goes. Slow down there miss!!!

I think so too! I have this pic in my mind of how it will look. and I have to say it looks fab! But i will know for sure after doing the mock ups tomorrow...

i will check on the dimentions oh it.. but its a big big room, so I think I should be ok, my sofas are only 85 inches long. if I didnt do that kind of chair, what would I do....
chairs in my studio - it's been well loved. One word of caution okay two - first.. don't upholster in thai silk.. recipe for disaster and two ... they are actually quite huge.. too huge to go with your sofas - check dimensions - don't do anything wider than 28" or they will be too big to go with your sofas and you will have a condo full of furniture and no room for you!

Hmm I really really want the floating shelves... I will do the mock ups tomorrow, then you might get a better idea of what I want for the over all look, there will be a large peice of art on that wall. leaned on one of the selves I am only going to use one for "stuff" like bar ware.... I really dont know what you mean by make it older I am only 25 LOL I really want it to be modern, a little funky and mostly a place that will make all my friends jaws drop!
