OK

I'd ask if they would package you up and ship you with the episodes, but we know what I think of the couriers - who knows what would happen to the red birdie if FedEx got ahold of her???? You'd have your spring feathers by the time you got here!!
Lore
would happily SHIP the episodes to you.
Okay, I'm just going to watch for it on the guide, and catch it when I catch it!!!!
Lore :)
airs
Tuesdays: 9:30pm and 12:30am Toronto-centric Time (it's early I can't convert it cross Canada my humble no Toronto is not the centre of the earth apologies)
Wednesdays: 6:30pm
Saturdays: somewhere between 1-2pm
Sundays: somewhere between 1-2pm I think...
So yes, it was on again yesterday and yes I did win last night - as we are still shooting the last few episodes... Now to REALLY confuse you all - the shows that are airing are appearing to be episode one and two HOWEVER the Pilot I shot is technically episode ONE so we often refer to these episodes in chronoglogical terms and mess EVERYONE up. However in Tv Land - they are episodes one and two respectively.
no changed my mind...gotta wait for DH to come home...so i might aswell...sit here...lol
The sunglasses smiley!!!! We are pulling out the big guns!
Bedtime bedtime bedtime
me behave....not a chance.....
Jenjen is confusing the he** out of people! (Well, actually, I don't remember if it was jenjen that started this conversation, but seeing as that girl now has THREE STARS, it seems fair to blame her!!)
Design Match airs on Tuesday. You haven't lost your mind, don't worry, it is Wednesday, just like you thought it was! Meredith just finished filming another show tonight (but we won't get to see that for another few weeks - on a Tuesday). Now Design match does rebroadcast a few times a week, so if you check out HGTVs website, those times are posted.
So far, two shows have been aired. And despite a bizarre PVR conversation I had with a relative last christmas, you can't fast forward through the commercials of life and see next week's episode early. (Okay, that was a bit of a digression, and not terribly relevant. I think it is my bedtime!!!)
Now, if Jenjen will only behave, we can all get some sleep!!!

too busy looking at that new light...that's where you are.... :D
Hey, it was on tonight too? I only saw the living room one with the fireplace (Sharon Mimran) and the bedroom one this past Tuesday. Isn't it only aired Tuesdays? What day is it today?? Where am I?
the one she filmed tonite won...oops sorry 'bout the confusion
must have missed one as i think red said 3 shows or did i misread but i only have seen two......which one did i miss, i saw the bedroom one and the living room with the green throw pillows

I just returned home from a reveal just now... 10:30pm I started at 9:00am...
But I did want to let you know that I won tonight (won't tell you which episode) with an INTERPRETATION and a darn tootin' good one at that! In fact, it tied up the winnings overall!
stylegirl..........heck i can only imagine what i could renovate in my home for 50 thousand....crap i could do my whole upstairs on that budget

forgot it was on tonight....:(
thank you stylegirl....all i had to read were the first four words of you post and i'm now wiping coffee off my 'puter screen.....i needed the laugh...thanks... :D
blew chunks. it wasn't even tone on tone. tooooooo much contrast. and it looked like a wannabe version of the original room which was too bland to begin with.
as well, has anyone taken note of the fact that none of these rooms look like they are worth the supposed $50k that the show boasts? if i can build a dream kitchen or bathroom with that kind of dough, please someone justify bedroom furniture (no antiques in this last episode) for that price tag. sheesh. are we dumb viewers or something?
red - thumbs up for your interpretation of the room (didn't the inspiration designer ADMIT that this is what she was looking for????) it looked fantastic and translated the ELEMENTS of the design of the room perfectly.
red, if your clients love thier rooms that is what really matters, if someone came in and did my room and i was pleased but lost the carpet or chairs, so be it, at least i can get them another time but my room is still done nicely....and your little critic will catch your show im sure on the weekend lol she even told her teacher in her autobiography that her moms interest is design shows and design mags...gosh the guy likely figures i sit and read and watch tv design shows all day lol well i guess! she even spotted a new trend home store down town and came home telling me all about it....oh boy my poor children lol

breathless anticipation for my favourite little design show critic guru. She has her pulse on good design so I'm hoping she'll lean in my direction... yet again! Keep in mind this was the third episode we actually taped, the first being the pilot - so I'm really in the hole 0-3 at this point.
say i was impressed with the model room, nice yes ,but too neutral for my liking...gosh we have to have some color in our lives lol....even though reds wall color was still considered a neutral, it still livened the room up...stay tuned for the 11 year old critic

feel free to take it up with HGTV.ca directly!! They've heard me on my soapbox for long enough!
you on the chocolate? Would I do a thing like that just because you screamed "no more chocolate" at me?
I too get the sense that the designers are looking for the one that copies their model room the closest. Too bad actually. They're looking for a photograph, while we want art!
Have to agree with Mrs. Modern here - your room was far more attractive. Interpretation is more to be admired than duplication.
Cigar Box.... a lovely velvety hot mocha yes?? You aren't going to nail me on the chocolate are you? I promise it is the only room I've done on the show that is chocolate! Apparently designers in Toronto have yet to notice that you can actually paint a wall a colour!
I think you may have to wait awhilte to see me win an episode... but that's okay, my rooms are quite the conversation pieces!!!
and Lore.. you took the words right out of my mouth!
You are two for two I believe. I think the designers are looking for a copy of their rooms not your interpretation. That is gonna get boring real fast. I personally liked your room better. I think a master bedroom should envelop you visually when you walk in. Loved the colour and the cozy feel of yours way better. Keep up the great work even if you don't win.
your room, Meredith. The other was just too bland - too neutral! I must ask, where did they put $50 000 in that bedroom???
