I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that I think this thread has run it's course for usefulness right now.
See anything unique in that?
Give me a break. It's the standard cookie cutter all white furniture B.S. that we've seen over and over again.
So if you can't give us something unique on the design front, AT LEAST give us some on-air personality that we can all tolerate, or at miminum, respect.
She lost me a long time ago. And now that COMATOSE Suzanne "Dimmer" is even a bigger boring twit than she ever was.
I don't think anything can save that show now.
sarah_b - you made me laugh :biglol: You remind me those UK hosts of 'How not to decorate' or car reviews show (don't remember the name) with their sarcastic, funny and up to the point critisizing.
P.S. Sorry, I didn't read anything else what was posted after your msg. :)
seriously you need to cut this sh!t out...you've got 2 posts and both of them are smart ass remarks...not sure who you really are and why you feel you need to do this but it's getting real aggravating....
maybe that's cause you got voted off ;)
nothing like beating a dead horse!
I totally agree! I think I'm done watching after tonight. They never end up choosing anyone decent in the end anyways. Most of those windows looked like someone's attic had exploded in there. Just too much crap everywhere! So what do they do? They criticize the fact that their windows are overcrowded with products, but then they keep those same people that overcrowded them in the first place?
I just don't get it (though I totally understand sending home the one girl who did the purple room). Oh geez.
Right on Jen!
yea i think it's about time this thread got locked up or just completely deleted!
nothing like beating a dead horse!
finally the annoying little troll with the bangs got sent packing. Yay!
I believe there's already a thread for that topic, in case you're interested:

It seems to include all kinds of hosts (designers or not), etc. As usual, Mike Holmes, Sarah Richardson and Candice Olsen seem to be the biggies there.
Maybe this is food for a new topic, but who's your favourite HGTV host, new or old...and why / why not?! I'm just curious after all the Suzanne comments.
I watched it last night the guy with the hairdo went home and the women that wasn't much help went home. I didn't see the whole thing so I don't know their names. When she left she was bitter and nasty about it the guy went with a shoulder shrug.
Oh no, it's totally fine! I don't care about knowing the ending. These shows are all the same after a while and there's never really a surprise in the end (don't they always end up choosing a final 3 on Superstar Challenge that nobody seems to like either?). Well, at least, that's what I've gathered from people's posts on here. They seem to let the good ones go earlier and hold on to the ones that can create some drama or give us something to laugh about.
Ahhh, but I guess that's reality TV for you! Ironically, there's nothing "realistic" about it!
I hope I didn't give to much away! Like watching a movie and already knowing the ending. I saw the ending and missed everything leading up to it.
I see that the singer was let go.
Oh! I taped it and totally forgot about it! Will watch it this weekend and comment about it later. Thanks for reminding me!
I think that a lot of this got out of hand so quickly because people aren't taking the time to read the comments carefully, and seeing who they are directed at.
It seems to me that Rachel finished her comment off with "diva" because she was replying to "dustbunnydiva" (isn't that her name?).
I think that people need to calm down when reading responses. I liked the previous post about everyone getting a beer and just chilling! It's Friday!!! :applaud: (and please don't bark at me, too!) :o
Did anyone see Interior Rivalry last night? I missed most of it. What happened to the 2 ladies that they ended up snapping at each other at then end? Wow.
I see that the singer was let go.
I prefer boring to someone like Simone Cowl (that guy from American Idol) that seems to keep his job for being a jerk And people gobble it up. It's not my thing.
I appolgize to everyone for being seemingly "over sensitive". If we all just agree that Suzzanne is a BORE then let's just get over it. OK.
Can we now get back to what is going on IN the show not who's hosting? Please...
Don't apologize, Monday! You and everyone here has a right to express their views.
And yes, I'll agree with you and most people that Suzanne is a BORE. Case closed (I hope!).
This is seriously out of control. I'm away for a couple of days and I come back to people quoting the charter? LOL! This is totally crazy. All because people were dissing a host that has nothing to do with any of us in the least. I'm glad I've been too busy to partake in this. I find it funny to see people trying to validate their authority by referring to their number of posts. Can we please all find a worthwhile topic and move on? :o
Anyways, just a quick reply to smoodgie re: last year's winner of DSC (I think his name was Ian?). Well, he did go on to work at Cecconi Simone but didn't enjoy it for very long and left. For some reason, he didn't end up with a show (not surprising now, given DSC's history of "whatever happened to so and so?"). A friend of mine is a textile supplier and deals with Simone's firm and gave me the scoop.
So yes, you're right about Design Interns giving the winner a job at CS, but the same was given to Ian from DSC last year. And no one seems to know why.
I'm almost afraid to show my face in here since it was my post that started the big war. I guess Ms. "Dimmer" does not push my buttons like she seems to do to others here. Sorry.

very well put trynto...........gotta love it......she is our bunny! :clapping: and a darn good bunny. :D

I think that was Design Interns, where the winner got a job at Oni One. The DSC winner is supposed to get a TV show -- although the first winner only lasted for one season of Kitchen Equipped, the second season winner already had her own design firm and chose that over a TV show (according to what I read), and who knows what happened to the third winner.....
I just came on board and saw that our DBD was being attacked.....I just have to defend........she is probably one of the most informed posters on this board and I completely respect her and what she has too say...............DBD doesn't have a mean bone in her body....she is highly educated and can site a fact better than most.......lay off of our bunny......we enjoy her intellect....guess you just don't get it......................... :D
OK Ladies, now that we've cleared that up... lol
Regardless of what anyone thinks of her show, I would think it would still hurt if she were to read this forum and see personal attacks on her character. Just my humble opinion. I'm sure she doesn't do the editing herself, so her image is really up to someone else to decide.
Back to the topic - does the winner of the challenge get a job at Ciccone Simone again? Not a bad way of recruiting people, but what if the end up not wanting to hire anyone!?
Yes the trolls have returned, new names, same faces and trying to use their twisted logic and signature rudeness yet again to stir things up. This has nothing to do with Dimma as much as barking orders (" Toughen up or just don't come around.") . Reasonable people who act in responsible ways don't behave in this way and why you keep feeling the need to come to disrupt must mean you just miss us terribly. too bad you can't just participate without the rudeness.
Yes, now :D
writing is on the wall!......i think certain minions come on this board under an alias, stir up enough trouble to get everyone uptight....because there mission is to make the H&H boards look real bad and that there is nothing but nasty people on here, which is SO far from the TRUTH.... then the designated alias starts to pm members to come and join their group because they will treat you so much better ( mmm, im sure, i wouldnt want that treatment).......it couldnt be more obvious! if anyone takes note, you will see members join but they certainly dont appear to be someone new as they claim. Now, i wouldnt say this about everyone as i know many will read here for a long time before joining but it happens more often than not. Now, that being said, i think we cant always be suspicious as i do feel we have some new members join for the right intentions. JMO

Almost... one more to go!!! I better make it a good one!!! :D
Do you mean that stinky aroma that's hanging around like a bad fart??
