Did last years winner ever get her own show? I figured it would have started by now. I had thought a new show was to be part of the prize package.
but it says Designer in the title, so I am confused is it designers competing or is it supposed to be amateurs?
If you read their profiles, pretty much all of the contestants are already working in the interior design business. This "challenge" is a total crock.
I'm a bit cynical, the judges seem to ditch the more interesting candidates early on in my opinion. I keep thinking about that older lady they thought wouldn't appeal to the masses. I'd much rather watch someone with a personality than a bubblehead any day.
I read that there are 2 from Calgary that are in the final 10 so anyone looking for a designer out there maybe should be watching.
