Pineapple angel food cake

Crispy Crunch Angel food cake
Either make an angel food cake or by a pre-made one. Cut it in half horizontally. Spread a layer of whipped cream (I use NutriWhip) on the bottom half, sprinkle on a couple of crushed Crispy Crunch bars, put on the top half of the cake, cover the whole thing with whipped cream, and sprinkle with 2 or 3 more crushed Crispy Crunch bars.
Both those dessert's sound yummy, i can't wait to make them, they sound easy to make too! Tks! :D
I just made this on the weekend for a party...and everyone including my kids beg for more.........
No Bake cheesecake....
I Graham Cracker or Shortbread pie crust( Keebler makes them)
2 packages of cream cheese-softened
1 tub of Cool Whip
1 or 2 squirts of lemon flavouring ( my secret addition)
1 cup of sugar or splenda
1 Can of cherry filling
Take the 2 packages of cream cheese and 1 cup of sugar and mix in a mixer... about 2 minutes on med high speed....add the lemon flavouring until well mixed......then add the cool whip...but fold it in and blend...not too much.... Now pour half of the cherry pie filling layering the bottom of the crust.......then take the cream cheese mix and layer it on top of the cherry filling .... and then add the rest of the cherry filling..........refrigerate to set...an hour or so...then enjoy..............
By the way...its a secret.....everyone thinks I slaved in the kitchen.......LOL
One of my best desserts is also super-easy to make... black forest cake :)
All you need is:
Chocolate cake mix
Can of cherry pie filling
Whipped cream (I use NutriWhip)
Follow the directions on the box to make the cake. Divide the batter between 3 round pans and bake.
When done, remove the cakes form the pans and let cool on a wire rack.
Put one cake on a plate (bottom side down), spread on 1/3 whipped cream and 1/3 cherry pie filling, then another cake (bottom side) up, spread on 1/3 whipped cream and 1/3 cherry pie filling, then the 3rd cake (bottom side down), spread on remaining whipped cream and remaining cherry pie filling.
Press down a bit each time you add a layer of cake, to make sure things don't slide around. And don't spread the whipped cream & cherries on the sides of the cake -- they just go on top of each layer of cake.
