Did I make a good choice? (Floor tile)

Hey everyone,

I'm curious to get your input on the 2 tile options I was considering for my basement floor.

I was debating whether to go with a sleek grey tile, or with a slate imitation. It's a walkout basement, so there's lots of light. You'll see my decor style in one of the pics below. Of course, I wanted my basement's style to relate to the rest of my house, but I also like to mix natural looking elements and finishes with modern accents.

Any views? :)

To keep things fun, I won't tell you which one I picked just yet! Tongue out

Thanks for your input everyone!

Of course the wall color will be taken into account. But the winner -- the slate imitation -- has lots of beige, brown and gray mixed into it, so it's going to be pretty easy to incorporate in my decor! I was thinking of going with Para Trendsetting Style (P5220-24), unless I find another warm gray that I like more! :)

I prefer the slate look tile for the basement walkout just to add some interest.

I like both. I guess I will choose sleek grey if I want to keep floor less busier and slate imitation wins if I want floor to make a statement.

I like door 1 which would be the tile that stands alone and not along side. I'll keep you guessing too!
