On Daily Planet tonight, there was a segment on Dippin' Dots. Anyone heard of them?? Dippin' Dots are.... ice cream!! Or more specifically, little ice cream beads. I don't remember all the details, but the ice cream is made at a temperature of -200 degrees celsius, and has to be stored in dry ice. You have to let it warm up before you can eat it, and you have to eat it with a plastic spoon. It comes with a whole set of instructions!!
30 servings cost $145 -- now THAT'S designer ice cream!!
At that crazy price, I wonder if the girl on the home page had to put the spoon of ice cream back into the container after the picture was taken!!
