I hear newer dishwashers have a shorter life?
I got a 25 year warranty on inner porcelaine casing. Rust has surfaced and that should bd enough fo rthem to replace complet inside.
I will continue researching options, but from what I see you all suggest I do it.

Personnaly, I would buy a new one. Bosch is the best for diswahers. I have one and you don't even know when it is working :clapping:
It is 15 years old though. No matter what you do - it is still 15 years old.
Newer machines use less water and are slightly better than older units and you can find them starting around $500. So $200 or $500-$600 plus get a credit for energy savings and maybe even home renovation program - not sure if it qualifies, but worth looking into.
If it's just normal dishwasher noise, you can get an extra insulation kit from appliance stores to beef up the one that came with the machine. They are easy to install, just loosen a couple of screws and pull the machine out a bit and slide it in. If you go to an appliance store (not a department type store that sells appliances, but a dedicated appliance store) they should be able to set you up.
