Did anyone see the Divine Design episode last Saturday Nov 29? I missed the part where Candace explained how to install recessed ceiling lights without ripping the ceilings and only using the mouldings.
Or does anyone know the trick to do this??? I am planing on installing a few recessed lights from the ceiling, about 3 feet from the walls and these will be placed around the perimeter of a room.
This was done on that episode of Divine Design but I missed the explanation.

I guess they strategically placed all lighting so that they do not have to go through ceiling studs. It is a very clever trick and I will suggest this to the electrician that we will hire. And then again they probably know this already. Thanks for your input.
I wish Lynda's H&H tv show feature some designer tricks like this. They featured recessed lights in a show with Anna Simmone a few weeks ago but they did not discuss tricks like this.
She had put the lighting close to the edges near the walls and hid all the wires and holes with crown molding.
