DIY Disaster

the episode tonight with Temporary Tony, I could swear the wife who called Bryan used to host another show on HGTV. Her voice sounds so familiar. I'm thinking it was that show that used to be on a couple years ago, I think called Cottage Country where she would go around to check out people's cottages (tough job!). I think the host's name was Linda. Was that the wife's name?

Does this lady ring a bell with anyone else?

Didn't see the episode and no idea who Linda Armstrong is -- but I Googled her name out of curiosity and found this picture. Is that her??

I believe Linda Armstrong (that's what the last name is for that episode) is probably the one who was the host of Cottage Life Show. I"m positive her husband 's name was Tony.

I hate when you think you've seen someone before and for the life of you can't think where.

Listen to her voice. I know she hosted a show. The only thing i can think of is this cottage show that was on about 6 years ago. It might be a regional show since the cottages were in Muskoka.

I missed it tonight so will have to pat attention when it reruns on the weekend. the site doesn't mention the wife's name at all or have any pictures.
