Here's a little garden stake I picked up at the dollar store. Now, I wonder where I should put it?
a. next to the plants my husband "accidentally" weed-wacks every year, forgetting that I have asked him not to-I think it's a potato vine (pretty purple flowers, then gets pretty berries on it)
b. next to the surprise plant find I found out back-I think it could be a Cranesbill...was going to photograph it and ask Marjorie about it in the Special Gardening Forum (also weed-wacked by overly enthusiastic weed-wacking husband, lol)
c. in the front garden facing the neighbours who built a trailer pad that extended TWO FEET onto my lawn, thinking I wouldn't mind
d. anywhere out front so that all who enter are properly prepared to meet me

....like a cross around your neck. And brandish it in front of his face if he misbehaves!!! It could alo be used as a stake, for a pot, in the ground, or through the heart!!
wish I had them when my hubby mowed down 4 struggling tomato plants. LOL
I mass-planted them last year in a bed with mounded-up soil that sits higher than my lawn, and a couple of them that I didn't pull at the end of the summer have come back. I didn't expect that, but we had a fairly mild winter so I guess that's why.
Dawn, I think you should put it under a, DH obviously needs a "reminder". Thanks for posting the site regarding wave-petunias. In todays Rona flyer I see them, they have tons of stuff but I haven't gone there yet. All my plants are in and I 'm amazed how everything is growing so fast this year!
