i definatley went into a lengthy response on how i thought velvet would suit the style of your sofa and feel of your room. also how i thought the bergere chairs are an excellent classic timeless choice for a formal living room. blah blah blah....
i even remember apologizing for not responding sooner as we were away the weekend and didn't reply until monday along with some other pm's.
i just checked sent items and it is nowhere to be found....geesh i guess i was having a brain cramp or something.
well, glad i asked now. thanks for being so understanding well there arn't any snobs in Milton anyhow right??:D

I agree - shopping for accessories is going to be fun - that's why we desperately need a HomeSense in Milton!
What were your thoughts on fabric choice for my sofa - go with a velvet look or a sorta linen without the wrinkles look (both of them are cream/beige/taupe kinda colours)?? I think I am leaning towards the velvet - it reminds me of the sofa that was on the show Frasier but a lighter colour - your thoughts??
but sounds like fun:D...once the balls gets rolling look out! good luck with all those choices. 4-6 weeks seems to be standard but it will certainly be worth waiting for!
the accessories will be a whole other shopping trip for sure. that's the part that i love the most.
Hi! - I am actually going Friday to look at four more samples of fabric and then will make my decision on the sofa.
Once I have done that I believe this weekend we will pick some coordinating fabric for the chairs (still plan on going with the bergere chairs - they have been something I have wanted for years) so we can order them as well.
Both stores have said 4-6 weeks.
This is just the beginning as we will then have to pick tables, lamps, etc. and then on to the dining room!
