Well hubby and I were planning on drywalling our basement ourselves. Looks like it's a lot more difficult than I had thought - neither of us are handy AT ALL.
I'm just wondering if any of you can recommend someone who can do drywall.
Our budget is VERY limited as we had an unexpected basement leak - but that's another story.
Do you know the approx cost? I know of course it depends on the size of the roomo etc. But if you might be able to give me examples of what it cost to have yours done...?

Time is also a constraint. Anyway we found someone. Not sure how good they are, I'll let you know when they're done :)
i don't really have anyone to recommend, but are you sure it's too hard for you and hubby? i kicked a huge hole in our basement wall shortly after we had moved into our place because it was water damaged and figured i'd fix it at some point...it took me 3 yrs to finally get to it because i kept on figuring it would be a lot harder than it turned out to be once i actually started...now i feel like a fool for waiting so long :o
mind you i have the other wall now with a huge hole, even have a piece of drywall left over from my bathroom reno but i still haven't started, the hole is behind my washer and...i guess it's really procastination :laugh:
