Hi Cathy, I have heard that the holly trees in your area are beautiful (assuming Vancouver area). I believe they keep their foliage all year. It may be worth looking into.
looses needles but a pretty soft needle tree.
Well that pretty much leaves out all evergreens that I can think of off hand...Have you looked at the redwood family? I recomend a Dawn Redwood. They have needles that turn red and about a third drop. Very pretty tree I think... Good luck - David
