My husband and I have a completely renovated home that was built in the late 60s. Now, we are looking to fix the look of the outside of the house to make it more contemporary. Right now, the top portion of the home is white aluminum siding and the bottom is brown brick. Any suggestions would be helpful!

Great! I was actually thinking of painting the siding taupe and what would you recommend for the shutters and the front door? Can you recommend paint colours?
Thanks!
What a beautiful spot! Senior design editor has been leaning toward painting/replacing white/pale siding with more of a taupe/khaki. Watch this video for tips: http://houseandhome.com/tv/segment/curb-appeal-tips
You can see how Michael Penney went with Martha Stewart's Brook Trout for his shutters (his roof is a similar shade to your roof and brick): http://houseandhome.com/design/photo-gallery-michael-penneys-new-house?p...
