Am in the process of renovating a Cape Cod and are going to go with wood floors in the living room, dining room and family room. Since are home is SMALL and we have a LARGE 85 pound Airedale Terrier, lots of sand outside, grandchildren etc. we have decided to opt with pre-finished flooring. We are leaning towards plank pre-oiled, pre-finished wood (larch, ash, maple or oak) and will probably go with one of these. This product is from Ancestral Floors which is a company in Quebec. If anyone has actually used this floor or are familiar with it, your ideas and thoughts on this product would be very much appreciated. We have to make a decision this week. Thanks so very much for your replies.

Hi all. I am wondering if anyone has any input on pre-oiled floors. I read Ollie's post from a long time ago and am wondering if the floors went well for them. Does anybody know any pro's/con's on pre-oiled floors? We are also looking into the company called Ancestral.
