Prior to ordering new workstations for our home office, I think it would be the opportune time to replace the wall to wall. The room is tiny, 10 x 10, and there'll be two work stations, each with their own chair on casters.
After talking to the fellow at the floor store, I'm convinced that I should use heavy duty commercial carpet.
This butts up to some vinyl/lino. He convinced me that wouldn't work with the casters, wood was just about as bad, and laminate was just ok unless you got grit or something on the wheels.
As mentioned, there'll be two chairs on casters and a lot of moving around and up and down. I absolutely refuse to put down two of those plastic chair mats; there would be no floor left, even if they did fit.
Anyone with good or bad experiences in flooring?
