I try to do my garden in blues, purples and whites. So whenever I see a plant that fits that criteria I end up buying it. Well I think I bought this one at the beginning of the gardening season at the Loblaws Garden Center and I can't remember what it's called. Does anyone know the name of this plant?
Thanks,
K

the Centaurea is actually a member of the daisy family (Compositae) while the Bee-Balm has the scientific name Monarda and is of the family Labiatae.
another name is Mountain Cornflower, it is very pretty.
Very similar to Bergamot isn't it.?
Centaurea montana, better known as Mountain bluet is the name of your plant.
Bee Balm. (Bergamot) Do a search on the net and see if flower is the same. I have had red ones, it's a perennial if it is Bee Balm. Is it tall 3' or more ?
