I think that's why the court made the decision it did. That guy's reaction - even if genuine - was definitely over the top. Most normal people would be seriously grossed out and just get on with it.

Yup, foreign bodies in food or drink is awful but that guy's reaction was over the top. If that is all it takes to become neurotic you have to wonder what he'd do in a really bad situation.

donnasinc yours is an issue with foodsafe more than being unclean. You child could have gotten very sick with ecolie from undercook chicken and is something they should be very concerned about.Hairs happen in thecleanest kitchen and aren't nice but all you have to do is not touch the food leave the hair right where it is and bring it to the attention of your server and any decent place will remake you a complete meal. Don't pick it out eat the rest and then expect a free meal let them know right away. If you are grossed out by it most places will comp your meal instead of replacing it.

Years ago we made a quick stop with our children at Mc D's and the chicken nuggets ended up being raw in the centre. They did not see it as a big deal and my son had already gobbled up three of them. When I used their phone to phone the info-health hotline about what if anything I should do they were less than impressed and said that they had to then file a report to the Health Department. Before I knew it the McDonalds manager was certainly getting worried and then the owner was on the scene. And.... they decided to reimburse me for the cost of our food. Initially they were not even sure about letting me use their phone.

He says that it was more about his lack of faith and trust now in products and that now the Supreme Court has overturned his case he thinks the food companies won't be so careful now about what goes in their products by mistake.

I'm a bit of a germaphobe myself, but if I see a fly in my glass of water, I just pour it down the drain and get a fresh glass.

This guy is just a little wacky.
