That was a great site you gave me...I've been on there for 45 min. I checked the "Lavendula" info and went right out in the dark and yanked the whole plant out! Sure enough- ROOT ROT :( unfortunately for me and it, it has been getting alot more water than I realized) It had to be taking the runoff from the 5-6 pots which sit on our deck railing. I have cut the poor brown stems back to 4 inches and put it in a pot to see if something appears before frost. Thank you for the great tip! I know I'll be spending alot of time there...:D

tulips. scilla, daffodils and narcissus. The blood meal so far had kept the squirrels off but attracted a few flies LOL. As I dig into the pile of soil I am finding nuts galore that they have stored there.
Your welcome I like that site too, so much info. I have reached a standstill with Atkins at 25 lbs. lost. I need a jump start LOL. Do you have any tips besides more exercise which I have been getting in the garden hauling wheel barrows full of new soil ? I planted 45 spring bulbs today.
