I wasn't sure where "chilled coffee" was in Canada but saw you are in the Ottawa area from another thread. :D
I am finding Chesterville interesting because we get half as much rain as Ottawa and it is warmer than Ottawa by a few degrees. In fact there is a definite line at Morewood which is only 10 minutes away regarding temperature and snowfall. We will get rain and they get snow. I am not in the village though but in the open so I do get subjected to harsh winds and winterburn. Last year was my first winter out here with a garden so it was quite experimental and I had a few surprises.
